BIOGRAFÍA de JOEL HOUSTON

Joel Timothy Houston (nacio el 19 de septiembre 1979) es un músico, compositor, pastor, y líder de alabanza de Hillsong United , y ademas es Co-Pastor de la Iglesia de Hillsong Nueva York (Hillsong NYC).

Joel Houston comenzó a tocar el piano a una edad temprana, a sugerencia de sus padres. Como él no estaba interesado en el piano, pronto se desvió sus esfuerzos para tocar la guitarra en su lugar.

Debuto como cantante de Hillsong United el 2002, sin embargo, que había estado tocando el bajo con la banda "Jam United" durante varios años antes de esto, y contribuyendo varias canciones, incluyendo la canción principal del álbum debut álbum en vivo del grupo: "Everyday".

Como parte del equipo de música de Hillsong United, Joel Houston ha ayudado a dirigir la adoración conferencias y en conciertos en América del Norte, América del Sur, África, Europa y Asia.

En 2011 no pudo participar en la gira llamada Hillsong One Day por latino America, por un problema de su voz, lo cual se fue complicando y tuvo que ser operado en 2012.

A sus 32 años de edad, Joel Houston, se casó el miércoles 22 de febrero del 2012 con su hoy esposa Esther en la ciudad de Sidney, Australia.

Es un gran adorador y compositor, en sus conciertos no simplemente canta, ademas da un mensaje, es un gran ejemplo para seguir y aun nos falta ver como el Señor lo seguira usando.
